What is the minimum investment holding period?

Three years is the minimum investment holding period for all BYOC investment options.

What is the collateral for the investment?

With no loan leverage, the cows are owned by the investor. The same cow head count will be maintained throughout the investment period. For leveraged investments, the bank holds the first lien on the cows as collateral.

How can investors track the cows?

Each cow has an Electronic ID (EID) with collar and can be tracked in realtime through software provided by Afimilk. All cows are tagged for ownership verification.

What happens if a cow dies?

Moo Dairy Farm replaces the cows that die. At all times, your cow count will remain the same. Comprehensive insurance coverage protects against such circumstances.

What is the exit strategy?

At Will: The investor can request to withdraw investment by giving 90 days notice. Cows associated with their investment will be sold in open market or Moo Dairy can buy back the cows.

If Dairy Is Sold: Moo Dairy Farm continues to be in business, so investment can continue or cash out at market value.

What tax benefits are available?

Under the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBBA), investors receive 100% bonus depreciation in Year 1, which can result in significant tax savings (estimated $30,000 for a $100,000 investment at 30% tax bracket). Additionally, qualified business income deduction of 20-23% applies to dairy farm owners.
